Radical Life

Jardin del Eden Cenote
Jardin del Eden Cenote

I don’t have to be the one to tell you that the world is such a much in this moment. You can lick your finger and hold it to the sky and feel the constricted breeze of imminent change upon us. I mean, let’s be for real guys. If it’s not WW3, it’s the USD, it’s the false flags, it’s the Presidents measuring dick sizes, its natural disasters and manmade disasters, its trafficking, its violence, its storms of all sizes, its ‘vaccine’ injuries, its failing health, its extreme mental illness, its religious leaders showing out… I mean, shall I continue?

All the world is a stage and you are being played in this grand drama of existence.

What are you going to do?

How are you going to live your life?

We are not in the last days.

We are in the last DAY.

And I say this while sitting in paradise – the sun is sunning. The beach is beaching – and still my soul is stirring. My whole everything shouts to brace thyself for impact. It’s such a dichotomist feeling because while I feel such love and oneness, I would equally say I feel a deep sense of sadness about the human experience and the suffering in the world.

As you know, I am a Spiritualist. But don’t get it twisted, I am also a realist. Basically, I am a Real Spiritualist. Ha!

I am not ignorant to the pain and suffering that is our current timeline. And so I am not going to sugar coat anything or be the one who is going to tell you to vibe higher – think positive – nothing else exist. That simply can never be the case.

What I can do is encourage you to be radical. Authentically Radical.

I have come to the innerstanding that there are 3 spiritual covenants of authenticity that keep us connected to each other and the Living Universe. And they are:

· Radical Respect
· Radical Amazement
· Radical Innocence

I invite you to be radical in how you walk in the world – with respect, amazement, and innocence. I believe it is essential to develop these 3 inner skills in order to be fully alive; because, how can you look upon existence with an open heart to the root of things? How do you open your mood of authentic awareness in order to befriend wonder? How do you work through all you want, to settle into being for beings sake? These are not singular tasks to arrive at but ongoing forces equivalent to breathing.

What, then, is the root of things that is so essential? What is the larger Order we are returning to? And where do radical respect, amazement, and innocence lead us?

(I know guys. Stay with me. I have big thoughts – big feelings.)

Our place in the world has always depended on our efforts to complete ourselves by finding peace in a supremely invisible harmony. This is what all the traditions deem as “mystical”.

To be mystical is to allow life to unfold beyond human comprehension.

I admit my bias. I believe in a harmony beyond my understanding of harmony. What I am realizing in this time is, there’ is no way to prove the brilliance around us; we can only sense the forces at work around us. In truth, we live beyond the range of our understanding. Like a stone mid-fall sensing the gravity that is pulling it closer to the earth. Like a clump of sand sensing the sea that is dispersing it into the tide. Like a lonely heart sensing the power of love that is softening it one experience at a time.

Mysteriously, the larger, more radical order is often out of order. In our journey toward Wholeness, there is a need to withstand the seeming chaos, so we might discover the larger order that is waiting beyond the edge of our knowing.

But being human, we often retreat to what is familiar, rationalizing that the unfamiliar makes no sense, that it is dangerous. When pressed, we tend to fall back on what we are accustomed to, when what is known is just a broken key to a door we can’t open by ourselves. And so, we lose our way, three steps from revelation, while it is often those steps that turn chaos into harmony.

The practices of radical respect, radical amazement, and radical innocence help us shed smaller order for a larger order – until self, other, world, and god are one. Inevitably, we can’t do this alone. We need each other to reclaim our roots. It is how God compels us into relationship.

Truth is, there is no they. What we see across the divide is us. We have created the systems we suffer under and the walls we hide behind. Therefore, to be truly radical is to work with care and respect toward uncovering our common, human roots.

We define time by our limitations. Since we can only be at one place along the river at any given moment, we bend and limit Time into smaller portions, more digestible to us. In other words, we compartmentalize Time. And it is this that we claim, self-centeredly, that wherever we are along the river is the present. And upstream from that point, we call the past. And downstream from that point we call the future. The truth is that the river – like time and spirit and life-force is flowing in all places simultaneously. It is we who cannot comprehend the Oneness of things for very long.

In traditional Chinese medicine, the term “spiritual” is used to describe “anything that is life-giving.”

Soooo… I invite you to be spiritual in what you seek and radical in how you walk in the world. I encourage you to form your soul like a root, digging down while opening up. I urge you to drink from the intrinsic nature of things. I implore you to inhabit the qualities of respect, amazement, and innocence in your daily life.

For to be radical is to grow your roots until you are a conduit for the essence of life.

I love you.

I love you *SOUL* much.
